+ What is your style?

Our motto is Classic and Fun Weddings. We strive to always capture authentic, emotional moments from every wedding - from you and from your guests. Our portraits have a classic and timeless beauty, not following each passing style and trend. They stay upbeat and bright, reflecting the fun and excitement of the wedding day!

+ Can you customize packages?

Absolutely! We can always do more hours, less hours - whatever best fits your needs. Get in touch for custom pricing.

+ We’re busy and not able to meet right away. Are there any other options?

While there’s no perfect replacement for an in-person meeting, we’re always available for Facetime calls or phone calls, which is especially helpful when we work with brides and grooms that don’t live in Nashville.

+ What do you require for booking?

For booking, we require is a signed contract and $1000 retainer. If you are booking both photography and video for you wedding with us, the retainer is $1500. This places a firm hold on the date, and you’re able to upgrade packages later should you so choose. We can accept check, cash, or electronic payments. The retainer is non-refundable, because holding your date means we will turn away other offers. Please contact us and we’d be happy to send over a contract. We look forward to working with you!

+ My wedding is outside of Nashville. What’s your travel policy?

We have good news - are you within two hours of Nashville? Then there’s no additional charge for your wedding day coverage! However, for engagement or other sessions, we may add a small gas fee if we’re traveling over an hour. If you have a destination wedding, we’re on board for that too. We have shot weddings in Ohio, Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee. Travel fees are dependent on location.

+ Do you offer a military discount?

We offer a military discount of 7% off any booking for Active Duty Military, Veterans, National Guard & Reservists. We appreciate your service!

+ Do you have liability insurance?

Some venues require proof of $1 million liability insurance, which we are happy to provide.

+ Are you willing to help out with my timeline?

Yes! We love to help out with timelines to help the day go as smoothly as possible. And we won’t push for a first look either - we’re just here to document beautiful moments that happen throughout the day.

+ What if my wedding runs long?

No worries! Ten or fifteen minutes is not a big deal. But beyond that, we will charge a specified rate rounded to the nearest half-hour. However, this tends to be a rare occurrence since we assist you in laying out your timeline before the wedding day.

+ What’s the turnaround time after a session?

Our turnaround time for delivery is 5 to 7 weeks after your session. Photographs are delivered via an archived web gallery that will remain online for ten years (if you haven’t saved a copy by then, we’ll get a little worried haha). This link can be shared with friends and family, and you can order prints straight from the gallery. Videos are delivered via a download link, and we also post your video to Vimeo to share. If you plan on using a certain photograph that is time sensitive (such as a Save the Date), and need that quicker, we are often able to accommodate your request at no additional charge.

+ Does your studio do headshots, individual portraits, family portraits, music videos, etc.?

Yes, we do a wide variety of work, not just weddings! We enjoy many types of photography and video: family sessions, maternity sessions, headshots, and more. Matt daylights (is that a thing?) as a commercial video director, making web promos and broadcast pieces.

+ I’ve already had my engagement shoot. Can I switch it out for another type of session?

Absolutely! We often trade out the engagement shoot for rehearsal dinner coverage or a bridal session.

+ What equipment do you use?

To highlight some of the main points, we use full frame Nikon camera bodies and lenses, and a mixture of speed lights and Paul Buff strobes for dark interiors. We also carry backup equipment in case anything goes wrong. We’re happy to talk shop if you are a photographer as well!

+ Can I show you my Pinterest board, or do you get mad at people who do that?

We’re happy to view your board, and we definitely like to hear ideas for things you’ve been envisioning. However, trying to recreate twenty different Pinterest photos on your wedding day is a recipe for things to not go so well. But for inspiration, we love Pinterest! Follow us @lovinggoods, and send us your board and we’ll follow it too.

+ How many photos can I expect?

The number of final images depends on the package that is booked. That guarantees a minimum amount of images that will be delivered, but we often deliver more than that.

+ How will I receive my photos?

Final photographs are delivered through an online gallery where they can be downloaded or shared with family and friends. It will be archived and backed up for ten years, so hopefully that’s enough time to download :) You are also able to order prints through the gallery. However, you are not required to order prints from us; our photos come with a print release.

+ Do you ‘touch up’ my photos?

Our photographs include specialized adjustments for color tone and contrast to make you look your best and brightest. However, blemish removal, advanced retouching or other “photoshopping” is not included.

+ What type of print products do you offer?

We offer standard prints (4x6, 8x10, etc), ready-to-hang canvas wall prints, and albums. View our Canvas Order Form and [Album Order Form] ( You can order prints at any time - right after your wedding, or years later.

+ What equipment do you use?

To capture your wedding day, we use multiple cameras for different angles on the action. We use DSLR video cameras, and wireless microphones for ceremony audio. If you are involved in video production, we’d be happy to talk shop!

+ What is a highlight reel?

A highlight reel is an overview of the wedding day. It includes clips of you getting ready, the ceremony, and reception all in one short piece. It perfectly captures the mood and magic of your wedding day :)

+ What is a full ceremony edit?

A full ceremony edit is a full recording of the ceremony, beginning to end, usually around thirty minutes in length. We typically use multiple camera angles to capture the ceremony.

+ How will I receive my video?

Videos are delivered via a download link. We also host the video on Vimeo, so you can share with family and friends.
